Hello, my name is Manj and I am a settler who lives and creates on traditional and unceded Syilx Okanagan Nation territory.
When I am not hampered by a constant sense of imposter syndrome, I love writing (and reading) short fiction, shorter poems and personal essays. My writing is currently leaning to questioning the definition of ‘the’ modern Canadian and looking at how the lines blur between what is considered cultural appropriation and censorship when it comes to writing. Inevitably, this does manifest in me crying in random public space but binge listening to podcasts and audio books usually sets me back up again.
